People Management & Development and Organizational Studies


The track focuses on emerging issues in the areas of Human Resource Management, Specifically Organizational Studies and People Development. The recent financial crisis and the actions taken to “recover” have forced firms to revisit accepted models and practices and created an exceptional opportunity to develop new research areas within and across disciplines. At the interface of practice and academia, this track seeks to investigate how organisations and policy makers manage their human resources post-crisis. Leaders have had to challenge conventional ways of operating and look for new approaches and this in turn has led to new avenues for research in the management of human resources, and organization studies. 

In this track we are inviting papers that focus on but are not restricted to People Management & Development and Organizational Studies in the following areas:
