ACCA encourages and supports gender equality within the qualification. Alongside this, they work with leading corporates in the UAE in order to drive change in the boardroom which forms as part of their women in finance forum.
The forum was launched in 2012 and is currently led by Cynthia Corby, Senior Partner at Deloitte and Kamillia Al Marshi, Vice-President at the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
The programme this year is titled ‘classroom to boardroom’ as we collectively believe that in order to drive change for the next generation, we need to drive this through from the point of education through to corporation.
Our university has been identified for the programme and you have been chosen to take part in the working group session. This will enable you to share your views on gender parity, what organization’s need to do to nurture the future generation and individuals like yourself, along with giving you the opportunity to shape what the future landscape will look like.
There will be three sessions held during the course of the year. Your sessions will be hosted by Cynthia Corby, Chair of the Women in Finance Forum and Senior Partner at Deloitte Middle East.
Post the completion of this programme, we will identify one high potential student who will get the opportunity to apply for an internship at Deloitte Middle East.
