Vikrant Bhansali is a senior government executive and ex-banker with over twenty years of work experience in Financial Markets and Derivatives. He has held leadership positions with top-tier banks like Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Soc Gen & Standard Chartered and has worked in India, Middle East and London.
Vikrant’s extensive career included both corporate and financial institutions business. He likes taking on new challenges and developing adjacencies around his core competence. As Managing Director Soc Gen, London, he was instrumental in setting up their Islamic Banking product platform; subsequently he took on the challenge of setting up the Financial Institution sales business for Standard Chartered in Sub Saharan Africa.
Vikrant is passionate about ‘sharing skills’. He has conducted various presentations, recruitment pitches, risk management and strategy workshops during his career. His broad engagement ranges from Students to Central Banks and Ministries of Finance.
Vikrant qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ranked 18th nationally) and holds degrees in Commerce and Law. He is also a CFA charter holder.
