Dr Michael gained his MA and PhD in Economics in Germany, and is a Life Member of the DROPS foundation – the Direct Relief of Poverty and Sickness Worldwide Education and Healthcare Initiatives. He also heads up the University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship and Business Excellence, through which students and business partners are able to develop their ideas into new businesses via high-impact learning, the collaboration of research and experience, practical education and entrepreneurial knowledge.
His teaching and learning interests include Marketing, Communications and Strategy Research, Economics and Business Optimisation Methods, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
