Reinventing Leadership from a Human Centric Approach

  • Wednesday, 23 December 2020

On November 23rd, 2020, Middlesex University Dubai’s Leadership & Management Development class welcomed guest speakers Elena Agaragimova and Ivan Palomino, co-founders of Bessern (www.bessern.co ). Bessern helps organisations measure and enhance learning, performance & well-being through technology and behavioral science.  Elena and Ivan shared a presentation with year3 BA Business Management (Human Resources Management) students on reinventing leadership from a human centric approach; a topic that is especially relevant during these challenging times of the pandemic. The historical evolution of leadership and how organizations have approached their development was explained in depth, which greatly helped the class cement their understanding of the topic. Students were encouraged to question how organizations should transform leadership development going forward. The event was organised by our new visiting faculty, Ms Haruka Marufuji.
