MDX Dubai Students participate in the Global Audit Simulation Game

  • Monday, 24 June 2019

Students from Middlesex University Dubai’s BA Honours Accounting and Finance programme recently had the privilege of being the first and only team from the UAE to participate in the Global Audit Simulation Game held in Malaysia. It is the only real world case-based simulation from an exclusive partnership between ACCA and Sunway TES and the big five audit firms: Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), KPMG, Deloitte, and BDO. Fifteen of our students participated in the intensive 10 day training programme, with one student commenting “this Audit Simulation was much more than an experience, where we were not only exposed to practical learning and real-life audit, but which also helped team building, and promoted networking with international students. We are more than thankful to Dr Vijaya Kumar, who took all the arduous efforts as our lecturer in providing us with a strong foundation in auditing concepts and for accompanying us to Malaysia. We would also like to extend our thanks to Pallavi Kishore and the staff and faculty at Middlesex University Dubai, for giving us this golden opportunity to kick-start our audit career.”
