CAREER PATHWAYS AND HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN CAREER
The Careers and Employability services department organized a career workshop for the MDX students in Psychology programme. Experts from various reputable companies visited the university and participated in the panel discussion which was about different career pathways in psychology and how students can create their careers. The event which took place on 7th February 2019 gave the students a clear picture of what is happening in the real world in terms of available opportunities and how to explore them. Representatives from Child Early Intervention Medical Centre, Wise Mind Psychology and Insight Psychology DMCC shared his experience with our students, encouraging them to explore the numerous opportunities as much as they can.

Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
In March, both the third-year January cohort and first-year September cohort students embarked on a field trip to explore the UAE Innovates Exhibition and the DHL Innovation Hub
