Computer Engineering & Informatics Students attract interest in Show & Tech event by the Assembly

  • Thursday, 31 May 2018

Three teams from Middlesex University Dubai’s Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics participated and showcase their tech projects at the Show and Tech event hosted by the Assembly. The projects comprised of a Lecture Recording System by Allen Mathew, Smart Home by Sanjana Suratkal and Menahil Ahmed and Automatic Pet Feeder by Danish Bin Nihal and Heba. The projects were supervised by Mr Judih Prasetyo and Ms Engie Bashir. As a follow up to the Show and Tech event, the Assembly Team visited Middlesex University Dubai for a meet and greet and gave certificates of appreciation for the students who participated. Two students also gained a place on the Assembly’s internship programme.

The Assembly is a community collaborative which brings stakeholders of smart communities together, to foster introduction and assimilation of research and cutting edge technology in real life. It aims to combine the efforts of industries, educational institutions, governments and community innovators to create and provide real solutions to important challenges faced by residents and the University looks forward to many more collaborations in the future – working towards the common goal of providing students with training and internship opportunities.

Thank you to Mr Judih Prasetyo and faculty within the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics for initiating and organising these fantastic sessions.
