Dr. Fehmida Hussain has been awarded the recognition as Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy UK. This award is given to those who have met the appropriate standards in teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education under the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF). 

Dr. Fehmida in her role as the Campus Programme Coordinator, Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics and as a member of the Research Committee has been at the forefront of teaching and learning initiatives, education leadership, developing outstanding industry links, and STEM initiatives in the UAE.
