  • What kind of support Careers and Employability Service offer?

    Careers and Employability Service serves as the primary means of communication between students, alumni, employers, partners and the University community. CES offers a diverse range of services to Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Alumni. Our service includes one-on-one career coaching, career planning, resume writing, interview preparation, job and internship search assistance, guest speakers, field trips and employability skills workshops.

     

  • How can I make an appointment with a Careers and Employability Service?

    Appointments can be scheduled with Career services team via emails a.javed@mdx.ac, a.katkoria@mdx.ac or by phone (043748448, 043612897) Resume review and job/internship search appointments are scheduled for 30-minute intervals. You must request your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Can Career Services help me choose a major?

    You can meet with a Career Specialist at Careers and Employability Service to discuss your career options and appropriate majors.

  • Where can I find a list of all upcoming career events and job fairs?

    See the CES notice boards on campus. All fresh vacancies are regularly announced and posted on student’s email accounts. Visit Career Services office for information on fresh jobs and internship vacancies.

  • Where can I find a list of all new job and internship opportunities?

  • How do I begin my job or internship Search?

    Start by updating your resume. Schedule an appointment with careers office for drafting a new CV and cover letter. Talk to Career Services team about various career paths that may be open to you.

  • What kind of workshops does Career s and Employability Services offer?

    Career Services offers workshops on a variety of career related topics, including "How to Choose a Major," "Job Search Strategies," "Building a Resume," "Writing a Cover Letter," "Preparing for an Interview," "Networking," and "Business Etiquette, Time Management and Leadership Development.

  • I have already graduated. Can I still use Careers and Employability Service?

    Middlesex University Dubai Graduates and Alumni can continue to use Career and Employability Services for your job search, career transition, career development workshops, career events or advice on continuing your education.
