Abdur-Rahim is a dedicated, dynamic and results-oriented professional combining extensive director level and advisory experience with a proven track record of driving business growth and increasing profits through improving operations and astute financial management. He has over 20 years in finance, accounting, banking, sales, marketing and innovation and has also been engaged in multiple assignments with an assortment of World Class Consulting firms to deliver Corporate Level Outcomes on difference subject matters which have added massive value to the organization.
He holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM) and Accredited Payable Manger (APM) certifications, as well as an MBA Degree in Finance from University of Leicester, UK and a BBA Degree in Finance from Baker College, Michigan, USA. He currently works with the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority as a Senior Advisor for the Finance and Commercial Division and joined the IMA Dubai Chapter as a voluntary Board Member in year 2015 and currently holds a Director position on the Board for the term 2016-17.
He finds volunteering for the IMA personally rewarding as he is able to contribute positively to the profession and society.
