Understanding and assessing adults as parents and measuring their capacity to meet the challenges of parenting. Infants and young children thrive when they receive adequate parenting. For this to be possible, parents need to have good mental health and to be able to approach their role as a parent with the ability to remain mindful of the child and reflective about how they meet their child’s needs. Children grow up to be parents, and knowing how our own childhood issues affect our role as parents can be very helpful in ensuring good outcomes for our children. This session will explore these adult issues.
1.30 - Close of Workshop
