Q1. What made you choose Middlesex University Dubai?
MDX has a diverse range of offering in terms of its degree programmes and it was the only one that offers specialisation in Business Excellence. MDX University’s sound reputation and the university having a campus in Dubai was one of the major influencers on deciding on MDX. Additionally, the professionalism demonstrated at the open days and USPs like the international ALE were other factors.
Q2. What aspects of your course did you enjoy most?
The entire experience was great, however, some aspects that were most memorable were: ALEs, project based assignments and class discussions especially in Marketing and Strategy.
Q3. What is your fondest memory of life at Middlesex?
The trip to Milan – our cohort built a strong comradery and created memories that would last us all a lifetime.
Q4. What one piece of advice would you give to a prospective student interested in studying at Middlesex?
If you are looking for the real thing – this is it. The postgraduate programme is tough but it’s an enriching and life altering experience. Sign up and rediscover your own potential.
Q5. Where has your professional life taken you since graduation?
I have received several new challenging projects that were once considered for higher management. The projects align well with my specialisation in Business Excellence, which allows me to put my knowledge and experience to work. I have been offered diverse roles post-graduation and the prospects seem exciting!
Q6. Can you give an example of a time when you put the things you learned at Middlesex to practical use?
Quite frankly, it’s in play all the time. Whether it’s my personal life or professional life, the skills, knowledge and experiences I acquired have shaped me in the most positive way. I am now a better version of myself.
Q7. What made you choose the industry you work in and what are its pros and cons?
I pretty much stumbled into Aviation. Being a part of one of the biggest and best airlines in the world has been inspiring. I am the first to admit that I have ‘Wanderlust’, hence the biggest perk is the travel that comes with being a part of this industry. It is hard, demanding work – but if you can put in the effort – the rewards can be gratifying.
Q8. What are the top three tips you would give to current students and recent graduates who are looking for a similar career to yourself?
1.Be true to yourself and to the work you commit to.
2.MBA isn’t just a piece of paper to enhance your resume – take it for all that it offers and you will truly discover your heightened potential.
3.Work life balance is important – ‘work hard & play hard’.

To be fearless!
