Middlesex University Dubai students visit Dubai Airshow

Middlesex University Dubai’s first and second-year Journalism students were flying high on Thursday after attending the final day of the prestigious Dubai Airshow.
The biennial exhibition, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, welcomed big hitters from the global aerospace industry to Dubai.
Middlesex Journalism students tracked down stories at the event, speaking to key industry players about new technologies and products.
The interviews with exhibitors formed the base material for a range of written, digital and broadcast content - the latest in a series of opportunities for the aspiring journalists to report on live events in the UAE.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
