Eighteen students from the BA (Hons) International Politics, MA International Relations and MA Global Governance and Sustainable Development programmes completed the Youth Ambassador Programme Training, an initiative driven by Chalhoub Group under the UN Global Compact Network UAE on 17 November. This is the second training this year that equips participants with the tools to assist businesses on reporting sustainable development actions.

"It was a great opportunity to be part of the UNGC training and to meet the representative of the UNGC local network. We have learned and benefited a lot through the activities and exercises done throughout the day. I highly recommend the UNGC Youth Ambassador Programme to all of the young students or professionals who are passionate about sustainable development." shared Nidaa Alahmadi , student of MA Global Governance and Sustainable Development.

UNGC  senior adviser Ayla Bajwa delivered the training along with Alyazia Sabra, CSR Executive at Chalhoub Group and  Hidaya Mansoor Alfalasi from Dubai Land Department. Senior Lecturer of International Relations Dr. Belisa Marochi also attended the event.
