SAGE CIMA Certificate Program 2015 is a unique study program designed specifically with a view to provide students with a platform to gain valuable experience in real world applications of the SAGE accounting software and enhance their accounting skills at the same time.

In todays economic environment it can be particularly challenging for a student to secure a desirable employment immediately after completion of their study. The desired applicant would be required to have practical working knowledge of some of the widely used accounting systems.

As we are always proactively looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the experience of our students and impart them with valuable skills that can better equip them to not only secure a desirable job but also position them way ahead of the competition; we started the SAGE CIMA certification program.

The program is regarded as an industry benchmark as it carries certifications from two extremely well known institutions- CIMA (one of the most regarded names in accounting certifications) and SAGE (most of the small & medium enterprises in UK use this software).

This program is designed to provide our first year students a firm foundation in computerized accounting on the popular SAGE accounting system.  All students were given a copy of Sage 50 Accounts Professional Software. Along with this, they were also provided access to an Online-learning portal, as this was mostly a self-study program. This portal provided them with study materials, practice tests, formative assessments, examples, quizzes etc. directly from SAGE.

At the completion of the course, SAGE tested participants in an invigilated online test, held on campus. Successful candidates received certification. This is an accredited benchmarked standards certificate and not purely an academic certificate. It tells potential employers that the candidate already has the required skills and greatly enhances the opportunities for good jobs.
