Middlesex University Dubai Saw Record Numbers of Students Celebrating their Achievements

On Saturday 1 November, Middlesex University Dubai celebrated its 9th Graduation Ceremony, where over 2000 guests were welcomed at the World Trade Centre, Dubai.
Among these guests were over 600 graduates who donned their caps and gowns and accepted their degrees.  The graduates received their certificates from Middlesex University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Michael Driscoll.
Awarded Graduates were acknowledged for their outstanding achievements within their area of specialism.

Deena Abdo – School of Social Sciences, Politics and Development
Disksha Narendra Laungani – School of Psychology
Priyanka Sen Gupta – School of Tourism and Hospitality
Hazel Fernandes – School of Media and Communication
Jay Kataria – School of Business

Dr. Lois Smith, Director, Middlesex University Dubai said “The award ceremony is the highlight of our year as we pay tribute to the outstanding achievements that our students work so hard for during their time at university.

Seeing so many families joining in, in the celebration along with many former students being reunited is what Graduation is about – congratulations class of 2014.”
